This time on a Saturday morning is specifically designed to get you over the hump of forgiving. I know that being stuck and not able to forgive is a painful place to be, with many uncomfortable emotions, like anger, shame, guilt, regret, and more. In this mini retreat I’ll guide to develop the process that works for you. The best part is that you will be doing it in community with others on the same journey.
What would you pay for a process that promises to bring freedom and joy? This mini Retreat is the culmination of years of work and iteration by Dr. Cynthia Phelps. It offers extraordinary value to get you unstuck, and moving toward the amazing outcomes of forgiveness.
This mini retreat is evidence-based, meaning the tools and practices we will be engaging in have been derived from the research literature. I’ve tapped into research on the benefit of forgiveness, the power of self-compassion in this process, and the research around habit and ritual to help build the practices.
Absolutely not. Dr. Phelps creates a safe space for people to take a deep dive into the reasons they have not yet forgiven. However, she teaches foremost, self-compassion. All participants will be encouraged to share only those things that feel safe and supportive to share, and to opt out or step away to take care of themselves whenever needed, with no penalty. In fact we celebrate when people put themselves first.
